Before you start: what to photograph
  • The problem up close, and a wider photo showing where it is on the trailer.
  • Axle problem? The axle tag, usually on the center rear of the axle tube. You may need to wipe the axle clean to see it. If the tag is missing, the serial number is stamped into the axle under the paint. Dexter and Lippert axle claims cannot be submitted without it.
  • Tire problem?The tire's DOT number and date code. The full code is on one side of the tire only, and on dual wheels it is often on the inside tire.

Please wait for approval from our warranty team before any repair is done. Repairs done without approval may not be reimbursed.

Your trailerFill in what you have. The invoice number and VIN help us find your trailer fastest. The VIN is on the tag on the trailer tongue.
Buckeye Trailers Warranty Agreement

Please read the warranty before sending your claim. If you have questions about it, call or text the warranty team.

NOTICE: This agreement is between the ORIGINAL PURCHASER and BUCKEYE TRAILERS AND FAB CO LLC.

Buckeye Trailers and Fab Co. LLC. Will warrant their product at no charge from defective workmanship and materials in normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of pick up from the purchaser.

The warranty covers any malfunctions of workmanship and materials used in the structure of the trailer: i.e. the frame, side rails, cross members, welds, and sub frame assemblies.

Limitations of Buckeye Trailers Warranty

Buckeye Trailers will not warrant components not manufactured by Buckeye Trailers. Therefore, this warranty does NOT cover axles and axle components, tires, wheels, couplers, jacks, suspension components, springs, wiring, lights, paint (including chipping, fading and aging), accessories, or any other component not manufactured by Buckeye Trailers. If these items are warranted by the manufacture or supplier thereof and warranty may be extended to the purchaser, Buckeye Trailers will make such warranties available.

Exclusions of Buckeye Trailers Warranty
  1. Normal wear on any item will not be subject to warranty. Normal wear items, include brakes, tire, bearings, axle seals, light bulbs, and fading or cracking of flooring; but are not limited exclusively to these items.
  2. Any damage done due to lack of good industry maintenance such as improper bearing adjustment, incorrect air pressure, lug nut torque, etc. will also not be covered by Buckeye Trailers Warranty.
  3. Any damage to the frame, axle, tires, or any other component due to overloading or abuse is not covered under warranty.
  4. Trailers used for rental are not covered under this limited warranty.
In the event of a defect in material of workmanship covered by this warranty, Buckeye Trailers will:
  1. Correct the defective work or replace the defective parts on a no-charge basis at our plant location, or
  2. Reimburse the purchaser by paying a sum not exceeding the price charged by Buckeye Trailers for such work, or
  3. Provide for repair of the defect or replacement of the defective parts by an authorized shops.

All Warranty repairs must be pre-authorized by Buckeye Trailers before any reimbursements shall be made. Buckeye Trailers will require photographs of items that are thought to be defective in order to approve reimbursements. All freight charges to or from the factory or pre-authorized repair facility is the responsibility of the purchaser. ALL FREIGHT IS EXEMPT FROM WARRANTY. In addition, this warranty does NOT cover any economic loss including but not limited to; payment for the loss of your time, inconvenience, loss of trailer use, lodging bills, trailer rental expenses, meals, storage charges, and other incidental of consequential loss or damage of similar nature.

This Warrant will be voided if the trailer is damaged due to overloading, negligence, or misuse. Without prior approval, any modifications or alterations to any product or part manufactured by Buckeye Trailers will void the warranty IN ITS ENTIRETY. Weights , dimensions, capacities and other measures state in connection with the new trailer are only estimates and are not covered by this warranty.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS, BUCKEYE TRAILERS MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OF IMPLIED, WIT RESPECT OF BUCKEYE TRAILERS. NO ONE BESIDES BUCKEYE TRAILERS IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE FURTHER ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES ON BEHALF OF BUCKEYE TRAILERS.

How your claim is handled
  • Every warranty claim is reviewed by the Buckeye Trailers warranty team. A claim is not approved until we tell you it is.
  • We may ask for photos of the problem, the trailer VIN, your invoice, the axle tag or serial number, and for tires the DOT number and date code.
  • Axles, tires, winches and pumps are covered by their manufacturers. We help you through their process, and their decision and timing apply. Results from a manufacturer can take up to four weeks after a claim is submitted.
  • Hydraulic pump (HydraPro) warranties are completed by the customer directly with the manufacturer. We can point you in the right direction.
